I returned to Pakistan for WoW Karachi, to create a follow-up series of artworks to those I began in Lahore. This time the works took the form of a series of live paintings created over several days at the festival, depicting increasingly intense distortion of hand drawn Islamic geometry, in line with predicted climate change patterns in Karachi over the next twenty years. During the evenings of both festival days I performed a live improvised digital artwork using the same distortion techniques on live mixed video, in collaboration with legendary tabla player Yousuf Kerai.
